I am going to buy an Iphone tomorrow, and Iam going to get the next day shipping so that hopefully I can get a 1.02 version. Dose anyone know if they are already shipping with the new firmware. Also, is there a option where you can put in the iphone so that you wount update to newer firmwares.

By the end of the month. No one has reported getting an iPod with 1.1.0 firmware yet. Firmware updates are not automatic.

I bought an 8gig IPhone from the local Apple Store here in NJ on Fri. 9/21 and it had the 1.02 firmware.

Jailbreaked and simunlocked with anySIM that night!
