Default What's best for the iPhone battery? To keep it healthy.

I would to keep my iPhone battery as good as possible for as long as possible.

So which of the following scenarios would be the best (if any?):

    1) Small charge it whenever I feel like it

    2) Large charges (to full), then wait till almost empty and re-charge to full again.

    3) Keep it in the dock whenever is possible, I'm at the office like 10-12 hours a day, so I can have it plugged in most of the day if that's best.

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

A simple search on the word 'battery' gave lots of threads.

You might want to check out the one called 'battery life - horrible!'

Pay extra attention to this reply:

There is NO NEED AT ALL to drain the LiPo's, to charge them for 12hrs and stupid things like that. This are false statements forwarded by incapable personal in mobile stores.

LiPo batteries function different. They don't have memory effect, they charge with 1C (means 1 times the capacity) and this takes approx 1.5hrs. When battery reaches 4.5V per cell charger is CUT OFF. No matter if you leave it stand there for 12 hours and things like that.

I am so sick of people thinking they have to charge their latest gadged for atleast over night and so on....Ahhh people RTFM!
