Default what should I do if someone stole my iphone?

Hi. So someone stole my iPhone 3Gs 32gig. Nice huh? What should I do? Should I change the passwords to my various online accounts as a result of this? I don't have passwords stored on the thing but I've used it to access everything.

I thought abot blocking or "blacklisting" my iemi however Att and Apple conference called with me to agree that they "cannot" block my iemi. goddamit If I can't use my iphone then I don't want anyone using my iPhone. Were they for some unimaginable reason bullshitting me that they can't block my iemi from being used? I've read that it could depend on what country I'm in and I"m in the good ole U S of A so I would think I can do anything I want. including block my iemi.

    Please respond

You bet your ass AT&T has this capability. But as you said, this being the good ole USA - it's a free market and they don't have to.

Why would they want to blacklist an IMEI when that device could potentially be brining in monthly revenue for them?

I'm willing to bet good money Apple has the capability to remotely brick a phone as well. Again it's probably a matter of profit as to why they refuse to provide this service. Each device out there is a possible App Store or iTunes sale for them!
