    Default Good Question

I noticed that it seems to increase with the number of posts that I have made.

It seems to increase by the number of posts, but also by the number of "thumb up" pressed by grateful members for the helpful posts you made.

The thumb down can also decrease the Reputation Power.

There is a special AI algorithm that analyzes and processes the text of every post you make and rates it on a scale from 0 to 1. 0 if it is a dumb post and 1 if it is a smart one. If your post scores 1, you get 1 reputation point.

You can leave someone a rep point if they helped you by clicking on the green dot. Its a way of saying thanks.

The green dot indicates your online/offline status. The thumbs up next to it is what you click if you want to give someone rep points.

It's what others think about your posts. You earn reputation power according to how many posts you have, if a lot of ppl find them useful (they give you possitive rep), and others.
I found something about this in other forums

I think there is some kind of proportion between the amount of posts you have made and the amount of points you have received.
