I think your conversion is off. google says:
    1 U.S. dollar = 0.497363971 British pounds

If 1 USD was = to 2 GDP you paid $200 for a $600 phone

Mine is in transit from the US. Should be here by mid week or so. I have a question: is the charger multi voltage or only 110v ???

    Hi Everyone,

Just got my iPhone, I live out in Dubai, UAE. I spent most of the day pestering UPS, and managed to pick it up from their hub a few hours ago. I ended up spending $825 (Approx 413 GBP). A little expensive, since I wanted a very quick shipping time - ah impatience!

Syntrak, to answer your question, this was something that I was concerned about as well. The charger is multi-voltage and can be used pretty much anywhere (it's also tiny!).

I've seen quite a few people having activation issues, if you have a Mac, these instructions really help.
