I purchased 21 iPhones the day they came out.
I have sold most of them, only have very few left and plan on keeping a couple hoping the sim gets cracked...
I've sold them through ebay, a lot of people from Europe and canada... and I have been using FEDEX International Priority without a problem (well except for the first 3 phones I shipped together in one package and they got lost... but after a week of bullsh*t they found them in a lost and found warehouse)....

I learned my lesson and now I make sure to put a lot of duck tape all over the package including the plastic bag that carries the label because according to Fedex the reason my phones got lost was that the label got lose.... uh huh!
    Well that ain't happening again!

So far all phones I've shipped abroad have gotten to their destination within 3-4 days using Fedex.

    hey electric0ant,

i'm in the same boat as you:

International Dispatch, July 06, 2007, 2:39 pm, Chicago (O'Hare) AMC
Electronic Shipping Info Received, July 05, 2007

the seller charged me US$83 for it to be shipped global priority, when it only should have cost $30. also, express was like US$7 more.

all i can say is the seller will receive some interesting feedback.

oh yeah, and usps is the worst service ever. total rubbish.

I read up in front of ordering one. There is a thread about UPS, the way they suck and love iphones. So i searched a seller who used a different service. Mine is underway with DHL, and at 8 this morning it went on the truck for delivery at my doorstep.

For fast delivery, use either DHL or Fedex. They are the only ones that ship in a matter of days. And yes, i know that DHL throws with their packages.

    hey wombat
global express should only take 1-3 days according to the usps website!!
    u in the UK too?
thing is parcelforce handles internation delvieries here.
i tracked on their website and they have the same info plus a bit more, saying it has been "handed over" with service parcelforce 48, meanin delivery within 48 hours, but that was on the 9th as well, 4 days now.
this is bullcrap, even the postal service from china is more reliable.
    sigh,

mine's just crappy priority international with usps. i'm in australia.

hey, china's postal service is fantastic. whenever i order from china, i get my stuff in like 3 working days, and no later than 5 ever. the usa can be anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks.

usps is a bit rubbish. i'll never use them again.

furthermore, i'm willing to bet that my package is in some storage shed in some country on route between the usa and australia.

you know what'd be fun? mailing a gps logger via priority international and looking at the results. that of course is assuming it ever arrives.

wow, 6 days plane ride. yeah it probably was in some storage facility between USA and australia.
but according to my tracking it left USA on the 9th, what storage place is there between the USA and UK? greenland? or has USPS got a secret bunker in the middle of the atlantic ocean.
usps , is definatly the worst postal service ever, and to be in a developed, richest and supposedly the most advanced country in the world too.
sigh i hope my turns up.
