How has T-Mobile been with the iPhone? I'm debating whether to jump ship to O2 or to just stay with T-Mobile and get a US phone.

Perfectly fine...! Voicemail and missed call notifications work perfectly... GPRS is reasonably responsive....

the only thing you wont get is visual voicemail... which is no biggie for me at least... or access to the Cloud wifi that you will get with o2....

On the upside, given that 1.1.1 is likely to cause more than a few problems with regard to installing apps and what have you.... I am glad I have a 1.0.2 firmware phone.. :-)

I figured I wouldn't have visual voicemail but aren't really bothered about that. I would like the new stuff with the new firmware which I suppose will appear at somepoint in the near future for all the iPhones.

I'm glad to hear voicemail works ok as does missed calls, GPRS etc. Was it a difficult process to get yours to work? I won't have my US iPhone until late October but buying it from there will save me around 60 and means I won't have to use O2

Nah, piece of piss... Very simple.

Just used independance to break activation, then apptapp to install stuff (it also makes it jailbroken).

I used a TurboSIM, but you can use the 1 click applicaiton for unlocking it... the rest of it is very simple.... GPRS settings are the same, voicemail just worked... Gmail setup was a breeze... All smiles.

from what I'm read am I right in thinking the TurboSIM is actually less likely to be affected by future updates?
