"We are unable to validate the billing address"

I used a friend's correct W 55th St New York, NY 10019 address. Why does iTunes complain when I try to activate the iPhone?

there is a number missing like 33 West 55th st (auf Deutsch: Hausnummer fehlt)

Use a prepaid or gift card wich has no track of your billing address,
you are german... so goto: www.wirecard.com and choose the virtual one.
I have signed up with wirecard with a totally different address and it worked fine !
I HOPE IT HELPS.
(there are other thread about this issue, please search for wirecard on this forum)..

As far as I understand, I have to send https://www.wirecard.com a copy of my passport and VISA credit card via e-mail. How long does this take?

I register with my normal German address and then change it to an American one, correct?

I'm quite confused.

Peops, I have recived my iPhone last week. I tried to activate with this gophone plan (to be more specific, the method with the ssn 999-99-999) and at a certain point, I was told to wait till att would contact me. Then I recived a mail with a reference number and a phone number from att. I should contact them. I used this wirecard. Is this normal? I thought that I simply can activate without problems and as I go to iTunes. Finally i have activated with andersons method and removed SIM card... (should i call?)

Call them and then use any credit card you want. the GoPhone allows international credit card accounts.
