[Warranty] Sim Eject Assembly
I have an appointment to take my white 3G to an Apple store and I just wanted some insight on what to expect. I bought the phone from a friend of mine who had it with ATT. I was wondering where the sim goes because I'm about to sign up for service and while using a paperclip, I noticed it did not eject. I gave it to a few friends of mine with iPhones and they all said the eject mechanism is probably broken. When I spoke to Apple on the phone I explained I bought the phone used and they said I'm still covered under the limited warranty. The white part of the sim tray looks a little tampered with like maybe my friend had trouble with it too. Would it be possible for me to get a new/refurbished phone? Would this kind of damage be covered under warranty? I read their warranty policy but I'm no lawyer so I want to be sure I'm not missing anything.
Thanks in advance,
Jason

as long as there is no evidence of using X-sims then you should be fine and it should be covered. The only two things it doesnt cover is physical damage and water damage.
