[Warranty Questions] AnySim Unlocked with TMobile US
I have a 1.0.2 OTB upgraded to 1.1.2 with anysim, everything was working fine and suddenly the earpiece receiver volume is too low... tried everything from virginize to restore, upgrade etc.... and nothing works..... Question is: If the issue is related to a faulty part can I still claim a warranty repair or replacement from Apple???

The answer is no. If it's not officially activated and you don't have an AT&T plan they wont help you.
Counting down for iPhone 2012 =)

Do you have this in writng? I was under the impression there is no mention of that anywhere in Apple's official warranty docs. Meaning, they still have to perform warranty repairs, w/o phone being activated... No?

If you go to Apple's support website and enter your serial number on the warranty status page. It will tell you that your iPhone is not cover because it is not activated.

Do the warranty terms say anywhere that iPhone owners won’t be covered for faulty equipment if not activated with AT&T, have anyone seen this in writing?? If that is the case, I have a friend with an AT&T plan and iPhone, let's say “theoretically” that he claims his phone got lost and then he activates my iPhone like his and use it for a week or so, can he claim the warranty repair or replacement from Apple in that case?
