    if you want to have the same wallpaper on the outside (when you slide unlock ) and same background to icons (theme) do the following:

    1. Choose a wallpaper and select it.
    2. Install a theme from Installer app.
    3. Uninstall that same theme by installer app
    4. CONGRATS.. you have the same wallpaper as your theme background.

    Notice when you now go into themes you wont find any selected :-)

    Tested only on 1.1.1

    Any feedback appreciated..

    What do you mean by installing a theme? Installing it for Summerboard without Summerboard actually being on the phone? Or having Summerboard installed? If you have summerboard installed, you can achieve it without installing any themes.

    Here's something easier. Leave Summerboard alone and just turn off "Theme Wallpaper". Done and same effect.

    You mean in Summerboard I assume. Where else can you turn off Theme wallpaper?

    Let me correct dropscience's post for you.

    Here's something even easier. Leave Summerboard installed, run it, and slide the "Theme Wallpaper" to the "Off" position. Hence the very reason this setting was created.
    </correction>

    There are two WallPaper settings. One under "Theme" and one under Advanced. If you have not selected a theme, then your working off the default wallpaper set by the iPhone and must use the setting under advanced.

    I must say that I did not occur to me that some people would have trouble understanding these simple settings exposed in SB.

    Right, I was also confused by that. 2 minutes after I first installed summerboard, I have already tried all possible scenarios with Theme'd wallpapers, etc. I just didnt know what the first post meant by "Wallpaper Trick", as this doesnt seem to be a trick. If would be a trick if it was achieved without installing Summerboard, which is actually never mentioned in the OP, thus I asked my question,

    Cheers
