Why is it that every time i get a voicemail, a log appears in my sms history. After checking my voice box i always have to go into SMS and clear that voicemail log. Annoying. Any way around this?

Well is this what is supposed to happen? Everytime you get a voicemail, there's a red eye saying new text in the SMS app?

its what happens with the phone when you unlock it as we have. there are many posts on this if you care to search about it. in the end though the phone was not designed to be used on a carrier without the visual voicemail service and this is how the phone handles voicemail when a proper service provider is not availible.
some people seem to beable to get the red dot on the phone icon to go away (some rogers(?) and t mobile users) it is just something you will have to deal with.
