me correct works in Chile!!
Today a copy the file "lockdown" (in usr / libexec) 1.0.2 on my iphone 1.1.1 and now works the sms voice mail notification and everything else calls .. SMS etc...

Is that all you did? Replace the 1.1.1 Lockdownd file with the cracked version of 1.0.2 Lockdownd...

Can anyone confirm this?

:-P This wrong ... The problem is solved .. But iTunes does not recognize the iphone...
I lucky that had a backup lockdowns before ... I was happy few minutes :-D

I can confirm this works.

I am on Rogers, unlocked iphone 1.1.1, voice mail indicator worked, then stopped working for a while, then started working again, then stopped working again.

after a couple of weeks of it still not working, I tryed the SMS Fix. I now have the voice mail indicator back again. In addition I get the SMS messages saying "voicemail 1 New 0 Urgent" which is new for me.

I can confirm as well. On Rogers installed SMS Fix v 1.0.0 via installer. After the installer reboot I went into SMS and deleted a previous conversation. I did a full power cycle of the phone and started SMS again. The deleted conversation was back . I deleted it again and it went away for good.

Tested the voicemail, I too received a SMS message stating "voicemail 1 New 0 Urgent". I also received the blank red dot signifying a VM was waiting. Checked and deleted the VM and the blank red dot went away immediately.

Perfect fix, Thank You!

No need to move onto 1.1.2 now.

I have researched 1.1.2 and although it does fix the VM notification, it isn't the most stable right now.

I really do miss the notifications.

1.1.2. is actually VERY stable!!! Stable UNTIL you install Summerboard with the "wallpaper dim" option on...you have to turn it off....I was on 1.1.1 and since upgrading to 1.1.2 I noticed the system is WAY more stable and faster...

*NOTE* I do NOT use Summerboard, Customize, iSwitcher, etc or any other theme program....just don't believe in them..lol....IMO i think it's just more bloatware...

When a call comes in, you may not want to answer it, or you may need to stop iPhone from ringing or vibrating. You can silence or decline an incoming call.

When you silence a call, you still have a chance to answer it, until the call goes to voicemail. When you decline a call, the call is silenced and sent directly to voicemail.

It is possible to configure the call go directly to voicemail? (Now 1.1.1 to do this, it gives busy tone)

The SMS Fix works flawlessly.

Upon install:

Voicemails show up as a blank red dot
A sms text message is received indicating the # of voicemails
When you check the voicemail, the red dot disappears.
When you check/delete the voicemail, the red dot disappears.

Hello all,

iPhone which was unlocked OTB 1.1.1 by jailbreakme & anysim 1.2. on Rogers in canada.
after unlockin i did have my VM indicator correctly working, then in the last week it had stopped. I was able to get it fixed today.

I did this by turning VM indicator off & then on in the voicemail admin options (option 4 on main menu)
Then i turned my phone onto airplane mode and then off airplane mode.
I had a message waiting so after i did this my VM inicator (red dot) came on.
I then listened to the vm and after deleting the red dot went away.

One happy canuck
