Voicemail button issue 1.1.1
So I'm on T-Mobile (US) with an unlocked (IPSF) 1.1.1, upgraded from an iUnlocked 1.0.2. I use Callwave for my voicemail (an awesome service that speech-recognizes voicemails and can notify by email/SMS). I had everything working with 1.0.2.
I had no problem getting my unanswered calls to forward to my voicemail number, and I guess that is still working fine (I didn't have to do anything to reactivate that after the upgrade, so it still works fine).
But my voicemail button now goes to T-Mobile's own voicemail service. I can dial in for voicemail manually of course to Callwave's number. I have tried both *5005*86*17756651234# and going into minicom, connecting to the baseband and issuing the command AT+CSVM=1,"17756651234". The AT command says OK (i.e. no errors), but the Voicemail button still goes to the T-Mobile voicemail which I don't use. After the *5005* deal, nothing changes - but I think that only works if you have a 3-digit short number to dial, whereas I have to dial the full 1-775-665-1234 number.
So how do I tell my Voicemail button where to go? Is there a different method for 1.1.1? Any suggestions? I tried searching and only found those two methods mentioned in the forums and neither seem to work any more.

Bump... any ideas? My voicemail button still goes to my carrier's voicemail box rather than Callwave even after trying both methods I found in the old threads here. Is there a new trick for 1.1.1?
