in my case is *777 which is the voicemail number for orange in Dominican Republic..

I've tried the *5005*86*xxx# command... tried replacing xxx for *777, also 777, alos tried putting my own number and it doesnt work.. Any adivce?

I was thinking maybe that there could be some *.plist somewhere in the iphone where i could edit the number that the voicemail number dials..

if u just put ur number instead of *777 it should work...

It works for me...

That number is stored somewhere in the firmware I think and not in a plist, as it got reset on mine when I revirginised my phone.
I also thought to have read a couple of times on the forum you cannot use this trick with numbers beginnen with a '*'. Maybe you can use the full (long) number? My provider offers both (+32495xx5555 and 5555 - just don't remember the xx)...

yea i read that it can't be done with numbers beginning with *.. sucks..

i tried putting my own numer.. the long one.. since some service providers allow u to reach youre voicemail that way.. but it doesnt work with my service provider.. :S

any more ideas...?? everybody that has orange in dominicna republic is screwed. none of us can get the button to work...
