I was thinking the best way to get MMS messages - like many UK users, I do use them from time to time.

Although this wont allow you to send them - receiving them is possible.

Vodafone used to send you a text message if you received a MMS message but did not have a capable phone. If you ever upgraded to a MMS capable phone, this was turned off and the messages delivered as MMS.

Now, I have called Vodafone and they are able to disable the sending of MMS and reactivate the sending of the text message containing a URL and password to view the MMS message. This could then be viewed in Safari thereby solving the problem of not being able to receive MMS messages.
