    Default Virus in 2G ???

I have a 2G unlocked, Jailbroken, since last update to 3.0 i keep getting a sms message that something is trying to use the edge function, wich is OFF, i don't have a data plan . I can't seem to find what is trying to communicate with Edge. I have no push services, and it is OFF. It's not that bad, it's just annoying, sometimes i get no message for a week than 4 in one day.

Thanks for any help or info.

What tool did you use to jailbreak the last time?

Have you got SSH installed? Did you change the default root and mobile passwords?

I would take a sync and backup of your iPhone via iTunes. Copy this backup to another place because iTune will overwrite it in a later step otherwise. Then I recommend you restore and jailbreak again. Set your iPhone up as new

If you want to instal SSH again use the following http://www.hackint0sh.org/f127/53358.htm to change the password.

You can then resync via iTunes, this will restore music and contacts and apps from the appstore, but not your virus.

No, if my theory is right, SSH is only the way that the malicious code got onto the iPhone. Now it is there, removing SSH will not help at all. You are still infected.
