Okay, the only thing that looks suspicious to me is that the phone had the tray removed to begin with. There is no way one can't tell it's not been already unlocked through GeoHot's method.

Still, I tend to trust them for some reason.

looks like they do have it! Hopefully we'll have it soon either from iphoneunlocking.com or from iphonesimfree.com. The firstone to release it will have the money!

I hope i am proven wrong but this looks like 100% BSD to me - just another feeble attempt to keep the free advertising going...

If you were hoping to make a lot of money selling an iPhone s/w unlock do you REALLY think you would put out such a poor quality video as that.

According to them they have has this unlock working for days (actually, since the day the iPhone was released if you believe their first lie) so why do it 'late at night witha Nokia N95'.

Don't ever ever ever forget - thsee are the same crooks that boasted they were unlocking iPhones on the day it was released !!!!!

I guarantee the reason no one has released anything yet (for any company's that REALLY do have the software unlock) is because they're trying to put in security measures to ensure people can't pirate it.

That really sucks as I just want the unlocking software so I KNOW I can go down and buy an iPhone and not worry.

EDIT: The funny thing is that I'm sure the software will be modified and made freely available via torrents regardless. Just release the damn thing I say!
