Default [Vibrate] Is there any way to make the iPhone vibrate longer for incoming text?

I am missing all my text messages since switching to iPhone this week. I do not like the 2 second buzz. Any way of getting it to do the 2 second buzz a few times in a row?

    Thanks in advance.

I tried that. I have a custom sound loaded for text message alert. 30 sec to be exact. Every time I get a text it still does the 2 sec vibrate and 28 seconds of tone. Sucks really.

yes you can edit a file, but unfortunatelly i dont kno wanymore which one it was.

i found it once in a plist file somewhere, you had to enter the duration of the vibration.

    maybe i'll find it again.

but that was when i didnt unlock it, so i just switched the mute switch all the time so it vibrated and it vibrated like for 5 seconds, or more if you set it to more

Study the iBrate "app" that's available via the Installer for insight. It's obvious that it's possible, though I have yet to see a single plist that controls it.
