My phone is Version 1.1.2 OTB (3B48b) Modem Firmware 04.02.13_G. Activated thru AT&T
1.I have downloaded the iPhone 1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw
2.i used the iphuc to get phone outta dfu mode with the cmd prompts works fine.
3.Enter the *#307# Stuff, enter prefs: and http.jailbreak.com under contact, set up my wifi check marks it, set unlock to never,Then when it's time for me to connect to jailbreakme.com it states "server can't be found".
I tried literally for like 7 hours different tutorials and nothing works.
Now im wondering if i have to downgrade my modem firmware?
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Instead of typing "http.jailbreak.com", try "jailbreakme.com"

Okay i have one more question i have service with AT&T and i'm following the (1.1.2OTB) and i just noticed in the notes it states "now all you have to do is get a turbosim and start using your phone".Does this apply to me? will i need to purchase this or something like this i searched and found x-sim and others.
Thanks

okay i used AppTapp instead of iphuck to kick outta dfu mode.I finally can connect to jailbreak.com and scroll down to install Appsnap click it.i don't even see a progress bar/downloading %.really fast it goes back to the activate screen no reboot redid whole process same thing so i go a little further.
LOL im talking to myself...
