i work in a hotel and have been trying to use the iphone on our wireless network wich is the datavalet branded service. Safari never redirects to the connection page though. iv called the service and they are able to manually activate the ip for me but wont give me the redirct url (they employ monkies there, i got a "whats that" from them) so im wondering if any of you have tried this or know how to configure safari for this type of connection.

i really think its as easy as getting the local redirect url but i would have to bring my laptop on one day to get that i guess.

i was able to use my iphone to activate a wayport connection a couple of weeks ago at a new york city hotel. I don't know about your particular network.
