You can change your useragent in firefox using this plugin:-

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59

Test it out by going to:-

http://skypeforiphone.com/index_iphone.jsp

It will work on your PC with the iphone user agent activated. Why you would want to do this I don't know..

I think he meant which plist file contains this setting inside the phone.

Me too I'm searching to modify the Safari UserAgent. Checked almost all the preferences without success. Probably it's coded inside the binary?

there is "tinyproxy" in the installer...
maybe we can change the user_agent with the tinyproxy or some other tool which act as a proxy...

i only found how i can ripp all infos from the browser with the "anonymous" directive of tinyproxy. but changing???
i think it can be done with a "proxy" but i dont know if "tinyproxy" can do it.
