Default Used IBrickr to unlock just for 3rd party apps now can I restore ?

I used IBrickr to "unlock" and downgraded to 1.0.2 . I have installed several third party apps, but now I am wondering if I wanted to, culd I restore to 1.1.1 ? Besides the WiFi ITunes, what does 1.1.1 offer ? I am new to all of this, so I am wondering what the best firmware to run and good apps. I have a service through AT&T and originally activated my iPhone over Itunes when I purchased it. I am a Controls Engineer, so the advanced topics will not be too much for me to handle, I just need to know what to read. Thanks for your help.

As long as you didn't unlock the phone with the original anySIM or iUnlock (stricktly jailbreaked for apps pretty much) you can restore to 1.1.1 and jailbreak it again....as for features you really don't gain much except for the itunes store and the double click on the home button to open either your favorites on your call list or your ipod, some say volume increased but nothing changed for me I didn't need the volume increase just check to see what apps are compatibile with 1.1.1 before you download them which I think the new installer does for you already but just incase check the dev wiki
