USB/Total commander problems WinXP - Can't pull files from iPhone over USB :(
Not sure who can help me with this problem - but on a Windows XP system, I'm having some kind of usb driver issue / problem.
When using Total Commander to access the file system of the iPhone - I can transfer TO THE IPHONE just fine... but when I try to remove stuff FROM THE IPHONE - certain files just FAIL - and total commander crashes. .plist files, .png files, etc... Some files work, but most cause the app the fail. IT USED TO WORK FINE - to and from the iphone, all files.... Something happened or got corrupt, but I have NO IDEA what or when.
ANY CLUES?

The protocol that total commander uses to access the iPhone has changed over time for example - i think it changed with iOS 3.0.
It is likely that the plugin you use in total commander is out of date.
Is it this plugin you use: t-pot - Project Hosting on Google Code ? it hasn't been updated for 2 years now.

Yes its T-pot, however it does work on another XP laptop I have, but not on 1 specific machine. I'm trying to avoid a complete re-install since I feel its most likely a driver issue (at least I think)
So to be clear, same phone, same total commander and plug in versions (installed from same archive) on 2 different xp systems. One system can pull anything from the iphone, including the .plist files and .png files, but the other system crashes when trying to pull same files from same phone - I can't figure that out.
And let me ask yet another question: Is there another app LIKE total commander for XP that will give me full usb access to the entire file system on the iphone, maybe a competing program?
(And thanks for the reply. I appreciate it)

It could be a problem with the apple mobile device driver. That is easy to remove/reinstall.
