Just wondering if its still hard to get an iphone in the USA apple shops or was it simply a minor case of short supply and everyhing is back to normal. A lot of people here said stock was not being replenished and also the press with their "new iphone" rumours

The apple stores near my house all have them in stock, some dont have the 16gb but you can always get one online. Not sure if they were replenished or what, if you want one you can always get it online

i was on a business tripp last week in austin and i went to 2 different apple stores none of them had iphones, i then went to 2 AT&T stores in the first one they did not had any either and i finally got an 8 gb on the second one.

online store is still showing 5 to 7 days for shipping

Well they ship it from china

Even the online Apple store says "Ships: 5-7 business days"

and the chinese ppl that got an iphone got it from the state. So i guess we sent it back to china for chinese ppl to have it lol
