URGENT NOTICE: US TO UK iPhone OWNERS
I have just gotten of the phone with Apple UK iPhone support after reporting a damaged screen on my phone. They told me any phones bought in the US have a US valied warranty. So you can't use your warranty in the UK if you bought the phone in the US. What can we broken iPhone owners do?

Yes the warranty is valid for the specific country only . you cant use worldwide.
If you got that phone in usa and using in UK means you already unlocked that phone with anysim or something like that, then you already lost the Apple warranty on that phone. it doesn't matter which country you bought it.

True, I just told the woman on the phone it was an unopened gift that I intended to register on 02 today.

Oh really? It took you to call Apple UK iPhone support to find that out? Clever boy, honestly. :p Of course you don't have a warranty for your US bought iPhone in the UK, why did you think it would be different? Have you read the fineprint on the package when you bought the iPhone from the US? The warranty/license regulations? I bet not.
Sometimes I really get the feeling I'm dealing with a bunch of 12-year olds over here.
80% of the threads/posts are useless, pointless, confusing, lying and mixing up facts. Apparently people with an IQ over 50 (I think this is comparable to a german shepherd dog) are very rare these times.
C'mon guys, use your brain and stop leaving everything to Mommy, Daddy or social services. :p
