    Question Upgrading iPhone 2G to 3G in U.S possible?

    Hi, I have jailbraked/unlocked version of 2G iPhone in Finland. I heard that one can upgrade it in U.S to 3G by paying some $200 in exchange at Apple Store.

    Is this possible and if it is, does one need to have current AT&T contract for the upgrade? Of course living in Finland I do not have valid AT&T contract

    Yes you need the current iPhone 2G contract to be ellegible for the 3G upgrade

    that will be the first thing they will check is the status of your service...

    so i would find a different means to find a 3g
    Get the latest info for NoAccSplash Here
    Currently it should work on iOS 4.x - 6.x
