This is my first post (well second attempt - not sure what happened to the first post)

Been following this forum since I got my iphone in July. I decided to take the plunge this past weekend and open my phone up. I decided that enough was enough with the waiting and the scams on the net. Seemed that GeoHotz method was the only way to go (until the Dev team releases a free unlock) so I bought the needed tools and set off to unlock my phone two days ago.

Well, I am happy to report that I am now using my iPHONE on tmobile after going the GeoHotz way!

Works like a charm and I could not be happier. Also set off on doing this because I wanted to provide a service if anyone else can not wait for a software unlock or does not trust it. This is the way to go.

I am in LA close to Culver City downtown.

PM me if you're interested in having this done. I ordered the case opening tool as well to make things easier. I would do it for free if it didn't take so much time to do it but it does take time. It should only take 1-2 hours now that I know exactly where and what to expect.

hey, happened to find one in downtown LA but he's charging way too much for $250, hardware unlocked.

Send me a PM - I do it for a lot less - not looking to cash in, just charge for the time it takes.
