Hello everyone

I bought an iphone 1st gen 2 years ago, I unlocked it and used it with my t-mobile line for a year. Then I bought an At&t line without a phone and I am currently using it with my unlocked iphone. I am still on version 2.2 and I was wondering if I the would be locked if I upgrade thru itunes. Or is there any way to make my phone legit in apple's eyes. Or do I have to go hackint0sh way ?

I am sorry if there is a similar thread, I couldn't figure out what to search for

If you have a subscription with AT&T that is supposed to work with iPhones, then obviously it should work (call them to find out). Otherwise, you can always upgrade and jailbreak/activate, and if necessary apply BootNeuter to unlock the phone for use with any sim.
