Default Unlocked but still saying 'Incorect SIM' - anyone in Hong Kong got past this ?

Have successfully unlocked my phone but it still says 'Incorrect SIM - Please connect to iTunes to reactivate iPhone'

Under settings i can see a new 'Carrier' option which shows a list of carriers but they are all greyed out.

Has anyone in Hong Kong managed to get theirs working ?

You still have to activate you phone. I'd suggest you try PACAY.

    Cheers.

Yeah, mine is working with HKCSL

To change the phone number format, you need to edit the ABPhoneFormats.plist
See the instruction of "Changing phone number formating" here

You can set it in Setting --> General --> Network --> EDGE
For Hutch3, the APN should be mobile.three.com.hk (you can check it with Hutch3)

    Great thanks.

Can you also configure the stuff to use the (2G) data service of my carrier ?
