Got through the unlock with no problems. Connected to my home network with no problems. I inserted my t-mobile sim card, that has all my contact list saved to it, and none of the contacts are listed. I am also having no luck connecting to the internet. I am able to send/receive calls and text

Any ideas?

set your edge settings, and iphone doesnt read sim contacts, its too laggy. Use a pc to sync the contacts OFF another phone, and back onto th eiphone.

TY for the contacts hint. I appreciate it. I will look at the EDGE settings, but why would it not default to the WIFI that it is connected to? Do I have to tell it to use the WIFI specifically?

I have a razr now. How would I go about getting my contacts off of the phone? Is there a program for this? I called T-mobile and they had no idea. Can I save them in a word document and upload them to the iphone? Any hint would be appreciated.

so, i use BITPim and have all my contacts on my mac (but not in address book). how do i get them such that i can import them into iphone? special export?

I am on a PC. guess I should have mentioned that. I just do not want to have to go through the trouble of entering all of my contacts again.

Do you know anyone with a blackberry from tmobile that you can use? I had the Tmobile MDA so I was able to sync with my outook and then to itunes after that but realized if I didn't have that phone I would have probably entered in the contacts myself into outlook

Good call. My friend does have a blackberry......sweet. That will be the solution. I will have to offer him some beer and I will be set.

I believe you can sync with Address Book as well if you don't have outlook but either way it will work
