I don't have the Iphone now, arrive me in 4-5 days from United States and I'm reading in a lot off forums that Apple release a new firm in the next tuesday, and when arrive me the phone I can't install the 1.0.2

I have the same doubt...

My iPhone will arrive only around Sept 28. I know we can keep the 1.0.2 firmware saved but how to have the .ipsw.signature file, required by iTunes?

I'm aslo from Spain. I bought my iphone in San Francisco in July and I have updatedand unlocked it recently ( the last week ;-) ) without any problem.

During my tests, I have restored and updated the firmware several times and I have unlocked again without any problem.

I have used the "large" method to unlock my iPhone.

I dont' know if you will have problems with your iphones, but I really don't think so.
