Hi everyone,
sofar I unlock 3 iphones. I used different methods. The first one is the manual iUnlock. The second one is the unlock_reloaded method. The third one is the gui unlock. All of the previous 3 methods work but I have a new 4gb iphone I bought brand new 2 days ago (from apple).
All method in this phone failed.
I get

it seems to me there is a problem in my FW that I am unable to clear.
Sofar I tried ./bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep to flash the baseband and then restore using itune but there is no luck. I always get the same error
.
using the iunlock manual method I get:

This is crazy.
I tried to restore 1.00 firmware and I succeeded. I just restore it but I did not do anything ( i know its old)
So I restore firmware 1.01
then I upgraded to 1.02
just hold the shit key when you click restore in itune.
Anyway while going back and forth restoring the images I discovered that the iphone will be activated automatically. After toy restore hold the home button down and connect to itune ( haha new discovery... I guess its too late for that now)
any way I thought I have a clean restore. But still I get the same error.
MAN I NEED THE DEV guys to help...! Please...!

Did you try rebooting after the unlocking. That should usually do it.
What version of iTunes are you using? Did you use the activation bypass "iphoneunlocktoolkit.exe" on iTunes? That will patch iTunes 7.3.054 so that is bypasses activation.

4G or 8G ?
I have exactly same problem as you have here, My iPhone is 4G as well, this lead me to think, is that could be something different b/w 4G and 8G other than the G?
anybody succeeded with 4G iPhone, new, hacked, or bricked ones, any experience with this beast?

mine is 8g

I restored my iphone from a different computer that has itune 7.4 version.
after that I jailbreak and activated and unlock using iunlock_reloaded. It fails just like before but this time I rebooted my iphone and it seems that fix the problem.
good luck

After downloading the 1.0 firmware from Apple, how can we restore the iPhone to this firmware?
I'm on a Mac and holding shift then hitting restore doesn't bring up any options to restore to v1.0.
This is the best option for me because I need to reflash the baseband to unlock it and I'm curious how to do it now.
Thanks.
