Please note i have put this in General as there are many different aspects of this question/scenario. this is very ncihe, please bear with me.

I live in the uk (woo) and i got an iphone from the US unlocked about a week ago. in short i love it, it is on orange and i love every little new app i put on it. but heres the problem, i NEED EDGE. with out it the iphone is gimmicky but not as usefull as could be.

is there any way of getting some mobile internet to work on the orange pay as you go?

is there any way to get good internet speed without having to buy a new one with 02 on it?

i know these may be questions only answerable when the 02 iPhone comes out over here but i apreaciate any insight.

I think you can connect to the Orange GPRS on the just talk plan (don't know which one you've got) like this: Go to your iPhone settings, select General - Network - Edge and enter the following details: APN = orangeinternet ; User name = wap ; password = wap. On the pay monthly plan the APN is the same but the user name and password change to 'user' and 'pass' respectively. Hope this helps...

i use vodafone uk, which must be gprs, pages seem to load with good speed

i have taken the range pay monthly things and put them where stated but still not working on the ninternet without wifi

I'm on t-mobile and have the unlimited package and the speed is great :-)
