    a quick FYI.
Just put 2.1 on a 2G iphone with a $5.99 tzones sub. No need to install the tzones hack. Just put apn=epc.tmobile.com and it worked.

    Anyone having trouble today?
I suddenly got "Could not activate cellular data network".

EDIT: never mind, it's working again.

When using epc.tmobile.com, I find that I frequently but intermittantly am unable to load news stories whose links appear on this page:

    http://tmobile.cnnmoney.mlogic.mobi/

If I switch back to internet2.voicestream.com, that site works consistently. I am on the $20 per month Total Internet plan. Does anyone else see this?

Also, epc seems to show almost 3G speeds on http://www.inetworktest.com/iphone_network_test, but what I find is a longer wait at the beginning and end of a page load and a faster middle. I think the speed test is being fooled somehow.

I can confirm this does indeed work
I have no data plan, I insert the apn but nothing comes on website except an error that my plan does nto support this
so i call tmobile they add the tmobile zeones for $5.99
i wait 24 hours, and now i can surf the web using only Edge witht he APN listed in these forums

so it does work if you pay for the $5.999 tmobile zones

How are they restricting the bandwidth on this? This don't effect me on the $20 plan does it?
