I have a brand new OOTB 1.1.2 iphone and used ziphone to jailbreak and activate it.But i think it got stuck in the middle.All it shows now is just the apple logo and nothing else.Even my computer or itunes doesnt recognize it.Any help would be appreciated......................thanks in advance

Yes, this is true.
I tried it with my 1.1.1 3.9 BL and it wotked perfectly for me.

Allthoug I got a message with ZiP2.4 it still worked like a charm.

Bought my phone 1.0.2 otb and been trying every f**king method there is, and this is by far the easiest...

Folks, I used Ziphone GUI 1.1 to jailbreak my OTB 1.1.2 BB 4.02.13_G and BL 4.6_M3S2 (phone was manufactured week 3 in 2008). On the first pass, I just jailbroke and everything worked fine - including Google My Location. Subsequently, I used the same ZiPhone GUI to unlock the phone as well - this time I lost the Google My Location function. I understand that the older releases of Ziphone GUI had an issue with Google My Location. Can someone clarify whether the latest release (2.4) will fix this issue? I am currently on AT&T and only unlocked the phone for an overseas trip.

Also, if I wanted to revert back to the non-jailbroken firmware 1.1.3 I understand I just shift + restore to the 1.1.3 file through iTunes - how do I lock my phone back again if I decide I want to toe the line with Steve Jobs???? Isn't this also called "re-virginizing" the phone?

i get a ton of errors when trying to unzip the Ziphone download. Therefore i cant use it. Any suggestions?

I DOWNGRADED my bootloader with ziphone now i wanna downgrade the whole thing to 1.1.1 the baseband etc becasue i think 1.1.3 is a complete bullshit. DROPED CALLS, low signal. I DOWNGRADED my bootloader to 3.9 so now ican just go back to 1.1.1
04.01.13 with correct modem firmware.

Guys i dont understand the people who dont wanna downgrade there bootloader to 3.9? 3.9 is better becasue you can fully verginise your baseband and you can downgrade your basebands and as soon as APPLE has a new firmware with a new baseband software you can unlock it with full IPSF syle unlocking. AND as i said you can fully go downgrade to any firmware not just the OS but the main part the modem firmware (BASEBAND SOFTWARE)

unlocked with anysim 1.1

i have installed many application.

now i want to upgrade my phone to v1.1.3. but im wondering what will happen to applications i have installed.

I took a backup of songs, pics, and contacts and other stuff. my worry is abt installed applications.

the other thing I need to know is that wen i upgrade to 1.1.3 will it erase all the previous data on the iphone and install the new firmware (1.1.3) as clean installation...

Mine is 1.1.2 OTB....upgraded to 1.1.3 and ran unlock, jailbroken, and whatever it is with Ziphone....everything works great untill the end with no error. However, my youtube won't work...it says "cannot connect to youtube"...please help...this error is annoying.

Try unzipping it to a different location. I had the same problem and when I unzipped to a different place, it worked.
