Default TurboSim Users - do you have this problem?

My iPhone is a hardware unlocked, running with turbosim + isa.trb (just for testing purposes)... I have noticed my GSM signal bar being dropped to zero time to time.. something is not right...it seems like something is resetting or rebooting itself.. im thinking its the turbosim kernel running ISA.trb that is having some kind of problems...its intermittent tho so im not sure if anyone has detected it..

Any ISA.trb or Applesaft.trb users here noticing this problem??

Because since noticing this problem, i m now running applesaft.trb to pin point where to problem could be.. and bad news.. i have also experienced gsm signal resets on applsaft.trb..(twice today already) so this COULD potentially be a turbosim issue..but maybe its just my network provider..

I will test again without the turbosim... just to pin point whether this is a turbosim or network provider issue..

i noticed this behaviour with turbosim. i called my cellphone when the signal and the call came in. it often resets itself or something after a call. but it's still on the network.

as for general signal strength, the iphone is faaar better than my sonyericsson P910 (i tested them in parallel on a train and)

very strange, i was about to post exactly the same thing!! its been annoying me. I have signal droping down and losing it altogether. The place i notice it most is at home where i have bad signal, but not so bad its zero. and my partner who is on the same network does not have issues on a different phone.

I did a search on the apple forums and people there are suggesting to turn off WiFi as this could be interfereing with the phone signal. When i get home tonight i will try that and see if it makes a difference.

This problem or very similar was posted a while back by our very own moderator 997TT ... it seems if you do a full restore, the problem appears to go away!!! and it sure did for me

i have that problem too... a full restpre would fix that? but then I would have to do everything over again from scratch right? activate, youtube, and configure the trubo sim....

but that will fix this problem???

I got home tonight, same story, signal dropping out.

I turned off wifi and my signal strength returned. Everything seems to be ok for signal for the moments but I will keep and eye on it and report back. But it does seem that wifi is affecting the phones ability to maintain signal strength is signal strength is potentially weak.
