    Hi all,

I belive the SuperSim method is illegal in most countries. Is this the same for the Turbo SIM?

In general, to determine whether you are legal or illegal, it doesn't relate to the method to alter somethings. The main idea is your intension to alter the functionality of a product and induce a direct/indirect lose of 3rd parties, in this case, AT&T/Apple.

Its a bit grey though, You are not manipulating your own carriers SIM in order to bypass tarriff charges, you carrier charges stay as normal, so no loss to them. Apple has gotten their money from your purchase of the iphone and don't really have a right to limit your use of the phone strictly speaking because there has been no subsidy in the first place that they need to recoup. AT&T could say they are losing out on a service contract but for people outside the USA, they would have never been able to instigate such a contract so they are not losing anything since it they are not offering service anyway.
