    I don't think this is going to go anywhere, I did it to one of mine and couldn't get the wireless to come online. either I wasn't fast enough or maybe it doesn't work with downgraded phones.

    ok...posting this from a un- jailbroken iphone... That was 1.0.2, unlocked,that someone retardedly upgraded...using grickp and pilo1 codes... Is someone on deb looking at this? There has got to be a way to utilize this....

    ok so you got it work, from an upgraded phone.
    the option for network is pretty fast, I've done maybe 20 times and still no good.

    It works from an out of the box 1.1.1.

    what i do is when it comes up saying 'safari can't resolve server' or whatever quickly hit the button, then it freezes.

    hit the home button then quickly hit the wireless (i took my WPA off) and then it will connect. Its not so hard.

    note: you will be selecting the network at the 'connect to itunes' screen, not inside safari.

    next time when you restart the phone, it will automatically connect to your wifi again, then when you run safari it will go wherever you want it.

    anyone got a copy of that tiff image? i'll see if it crashes

    I had to turn the WPA off my Router because the iPhone keyboard wasn't popping up. Trouble is when I turn the phone off it doesn't remember the Wireless Network
