[Trick] How to use the iPhone touch-screen with your gloves on!
I dont know how many of you people out there are having problems using your iPhone in freezing cold conditions. I dont know whether you people know about this or not, fruit skins work as good as your finger for using the iPhone's touch screen.
I kind of discovered this during breakfast when I accidentally dropped an orange on my iPhone. I saw that the touch screen responded when the orange fell on it.
So, any one out there who feels it inconvenient to take off your gloves each time you need to operate the phone, take your glove, take a tiny bit of any fruit skin( cabbage leaf also works great). Stick whatever you have chosen on the finger tip of the glove,... and Voila! You have an iPhone compatible glove!!
Hope this trick proves to be useful.
My iPhone --- 1.0.2 --> 1.1.1 --> 1.1.2 --> 1.1.3 --> 1.1.4 --> 2.0.1 --> 2.0.2 --> 2.1 Pwned(Thanx to the guides in this wunderful forum)

You just have to think of the iPhone touchscreen as a capacitive device, meaning it recognizes electrical charges, so you can, for instance, take an AA battery as a pointing device.
The catch here is that below the surface of the screen is a netting of nanocapacitors that transfer their (tiny) charge to your finger when you put it close and then the iPhone knows where you tapped because this place is requesting more energy.
So, anything that can absorb this charge will work (of course, non-resistive organic things). Also, something that you can hold to conduct the charge to you.
This said, you can think over to come up with some kind of pointing device.
Cheers
EDIT: About the AA battery, it doesn't have to be an AA, it's my example because they are really common in my city.
