I'm guessing since it's T-Mobile you're running on the unknown carrier symlink for the phone. Until creating valid symlinks for 1.1.3 is figured out, you can edit the carrier.plist file found in the unknown carrier bundle to include the settings you want. You can also edit that file to show you the edge settings menu as well. The plist's are found in /System/Library/Carrier Bundles

I'm also on T-Mobile and after the upgrade i miss the whole EDGE menu point.
Can you explain that a little bit more detailed for guys like me?

Go to general - reset - reset network settings

The phone will probably reboot and then you can re-enter the apn. (wap.voicestream.com)

No that's not the issue:

If i put in a vodafone card i can see the edge menu, as soon as i pop in my t-mobile card the edge menu is gone. I guess it has nothing to do with the settings.

Unfortunatley i don't know how to edit a plist file and what i need to edit (running mac)

Sorry, not sure then. Im on Tmo US and i have the edge settings, but did have to reset to be able to save the settings.
