is there a time limit on the ringtone files? i just dumped full songs that were put in m4a type and they did not show up, i could have done something wrong i suppose.

aswell my phone now shows the bars (although at 0) with a fido sim in there and if you try to call it doesnt fail now it doesnt ring it just sits there attempting to call. its better than failing though!

there no time limit on ringtones... It will be alphabetical, and make sure you put it in the /System/Library/Ringtones directory (I think that's the path, I could be wrong on that)

I have heard the /System/Library/Ringtones works but have not tired it, I thing that were the default ringtones are located.

I also did it with making a directory /var/root/Library/Ringtones
I know this one worked. Well the MAC instructions did.
