Things That Just Don't Add Up About Uniquephones And Their Mickey Mouse Operations!
As many of us know since the beginning of the IPhone launch, they said that they unlocked a certain percentage of IPhones, WHERE'S THE PROOF???
Still today nothing to confirm this.
The question is why now all of a big deal with lawyers and stuff since they are experts at unlocking phones, shouldn't they already know all the ins and outs of laws??? If they have been doing this for so many years, what would be the difference with IPhone, since they are unlocking every other brand.
Here's where the bull***t comes in , what company answers their phone at 3:00 a.m. please give me a f***break.
IF YOU THINK IS TRUE , I challenge you to call them at that time and see if they will answer the phone.
Let's just say for 1SEC if this was true, just 1sec, WHY ON EARTH WILL THEY WAIT TILL HIGH NOON 12:00p.m. to post what happened the night before, why didn't they just post right after the the call was made, if they were honest about this really happening.
WHY KEEP EVERYBODY IN SUSPENSE TILL 12:00P.M.
AND STILL NOW NO PRESS RELEASE.
Uniquephones and Mickey mouse should team up together at Disney land, if they think that I will believe a word the say.

I understand your outrage but I advise everybody to stay calm and avoid insults regarding these companies because they may fight back.
Keep it to yourself, as hard as this may be.

They just issued their press release. They are postponing the software release indefinitely. Uhu... yeah right... those guys were full of shit.
Maybe they were hoping that one of the other development communities would quickly release their solution so they could rip it off afterwards....
Mark my words: Once the devTeam or anyone else comes out with a true software patch they will suddenly decide to release theirs as well:
"We have checked with our lawyers and decided we can go ahead with the release of our patch. You can purchase it for just $49.99"
Give me a BREAK! :-)

My favourite part was when the press release states that they got the law firm call at 'approximately 2.54am'
(as opposed to exactly 2.54am?! Who says shit like that?!)

2:54 AM GMT time is 7ish EST so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that a call may have been placed at this time from whomever's lawyers (AT&T or Apple) in the states to unqiuephones in the UK. Still sounds fishy and does again prompt the question... who answers their business phone at 2:54 AM... nobody unless you've call forwarding (doubtful) or live in the office. Gotta admit it sounds like BULL!
I really think they're either waiting for the dev team release or are in cahoots with iphonesimfree.com (or maybe all together) and will release very soon after the either of these, by offering a rehashed/branded version of the software.
My tuppence worth!

I can attest by experience, too, that lawyers do not make threats on the phone. They use fax machines.
If this guy didn't get a fax, it's BS.

Another thing, I don't know if you guys actually thought about it:
Here is the claim of the guy from one company who claims that AT&T lawyers contacted him:
We have the software. It works. And we are ready to go.
Seems AT&T is a bit annoyed at the idea. A middle of the night phone call from a Silicon Valley law firm is slowing down the release of the software to you.
Read this claim VERY carefully and now tell me: where in this claim does he actually say that AT&T lawyers or lawyers working for AT&T contacted him?
Clever, very very clever.
If AT&T never contacted him through a law firm, they should sue this guy until he looses his underwear too. Because this claim, if not true, actually had a great impact on the public view of AT&T as a company. A lot of negative publicity started, I hope AT&T does the right thing if this guy wasn't telling the truth and/or actually tried to make it sound like as AT&T has put him under legal pressure.
