    Default Are These Apps Safe?

Hi, in Installer, when clicking on many of the apps a warning comes up saying that the app comes from "an untrusted source" and that it may be harmful to install it. Most are from the site "thebigboss.org" which also give BossPrefs.

Does anyone now if these are really unsafe or whether it is safe to add them? Does it REALLY mean "untrusted" or more "unknown" please?

Some of these "untrusted sources" are the ones that didn't come with installer, if they are from bigboss, there is no trouble, go ahead and download the app.

It means "unknown" more than it means "dangerous", but you should always be careful when installing anything from an obscure source.

Thank you so very much for each reply, I had thought that thebigboss was safe but was alarmed by the "untrusted" message - since reading the replies I have installed many of the apps from thebigboss (no others, just in case right now!!) and they are just fab!!

Thank you again for putting my mind at rest everyone!!
