you only have to restore it if itunes is still giving you that msg. when my phone was returned to me wifi was actually greyed out.

i think you will be fine though without doing a restore, just make sure youtube is working.

Yes, but it does not unlock it. Wifi greyed out because you did not turn it on and set WAP?
