you can use by installing cydia on your phone and the search for sb settings.
install sbsettings
this will allow you to have some quick functions on your iphone, once installed
while you are on the main home screen of your iphone(where all the applications etc are)
slide from the top left to the right of your iphone and a hidden window will appear
over there look for an icon called power, click on it and another window will apeear and it will give you an option to reboot.

curiously i just typed reboot and it rebooted. how come shutdown doesn't work for me?
edit: curious i typed reboot -r and it said illegal option -- r
usage: reboot [-lnq]
before i keep messing with it and potentially do something i'm not supposed to do can anyone tell me what -l -n and -q would do?

yes, if you have installed it you will see that it does give you a few more options when you click on power off
Reboot
Safe mode
shut down
etc
so if you installed it you will also see the icon that does let you shut it down.

Try "shutdown -h now"
Works on Mac, works on iOS.
