I would have to disagree...jailbreaking is making the file system available. Recently all the apps that do so have added Installer, to make it easy for the masses (noobs).
I see, you're one of those anally retentive folks who do things very meticulously and usually have no problems with their computers or iPhones . LOL
If you want to manage your device manually, install apps, change icons, etc it can be done without Installer....like we had to do in the very beginning.
This is what I want to do...
I mean absolutely no offence with my above comment, and if it has offended you, then I offer my sincere apologies. I myself could be described as anally retentive as everything I have and do must be ...just so... even the amount of full-stops/periods I just used is, in my opinion, extremely satisfying, both in it's aesthetics, and in the fact that 3 is a prime number.
