after the reset add t-zones hack again and fill the apn field, try in Safari www.mlb.com it should switch to http://wap.mlb.com/ at the end of the page is t-zones Home, you'll see your account, even though the links won't work you know your t-zones is active.
Like reznor said an old SIM is gonna be trouble, replace it. Good Luck..

thanks for the input guys, but unfortunately still no dice

Some combination of resetting network settings uninstalling and reinstalling t-zones hack got me back to the point where yahoo.com works but everything else gives the comverse error. the sim card I'm using is actually a brand new one

I tried sticking my sim card into an old nokia phone and tried accessing t-zones. The T-Zones main page was able to load but when I tried to open up any 3rd party url it gave me the same error of "you do not have access to view this page". (strange enough even yahoo.com didnt work on this phone)

I called up t-mobile and told them about this error (on the nokia phone, i didn't mention anything about the iphone) but the agent wasn't able to figure anything out. They confirmed I SHOULD be able to access 3rd party websites using t-zones, and that my account showed the service active, but they said it may be the fact that the phone(the nokia) was not a t-mobile issued phone. The support agent suggested I try a t-mobile branded phone at a store and see if I could access third party sites to determine if it is an issue with the network/my account or an issue with the phone.

So tomorrow I'll borrow a friend's branded t-mobile phone and see if I can access third party sites via t-zones and call t-mobile support again.

    I'll keep you posted.

I did exactly that, using a Tmobile branded Samsung... when I accessed the TZones on the phone only certain options would work... such as horriscopes and lottery numbers, but when trying to access some of the other options such as celebrity gossip or local news it would give me an error saying I dont have access to the site... I called Tmobile and they said that it only means that my tzones is still in the provisioning state, where all options/functions will not be availble and could take up to 48 hours to complete... if it doesnt work by tuesday morning Ill have to call back.. crossing my fingers till then...
FYI, they said that sometimes when you turn off the phone for 60 seconds and then turn it back on it will finish faster... but I tried it and it didnt work... but on some sites it is said that it did... I suggest everyone try it... you never know.

I borrowed my friend's branded tmobile phone and I still wasnt able to access 3rd party websites and I just got off the phone with t-mobile. They said my account looks fine and even tried resetting something. They suggested I goto a t-mobile store and ask for a replacement sim and see if that works... I'll be going to the store during lunch time to see if this works...

If this doesnt work they said they'll raise some sort of engineering investigation into my issue.

    New sim didnt work either.

I called back t-mobile they are escalating to their engineers to investigate, but they let on that others were having issues with connectivity as well.

I got the same problem too.
It works well until last week.
Then I cancelled it because I want to test AT&T 3G.
Yesterday, I reactivated t-mobile web, it doesn't work anymore.
The only website works is yahoo.com.

    My friend t-zone works though.

T-mobile just updated their web and other stuffs. That might cause the problem. Should have keep my old t-moble web.

interesting, i actually had tmobileweb on my old phone and deactivated a year ago. I only just re-added it a few weeks ago.

reznor9 - the account that you are having a problem with, did that account previously have tmobileweb, then have it deactivated, and then just now reactivated ?

maybe re-activating the feature causes a problem, and if adding it new its not a problem

I did deactivated and reactivated many times for more than half a year now.
    It always work!
    But not this time.
Maybe there is something wrong with the t-mobile carrier bundle on Cydia.
I will restore my iphone. Lets see if it works or not.

Umm, $19.99 plan didn't work on my iPhone either.
I think there is something wrong with the carrier bundle I installed from Cydia.
I restored my phone, and now it works.

I will reactivate 5.99 plan and see if it works or not.
    I will update later.
