    Default AT&T sim card.

I am going to openly admit this is a stupid question. It has however, been sitting in the back of mind for a long time. Is it possible to take an AT&T sim card and delete everything on it except the part that is needed to use the phone and write it with a different carriers info? I will hold my head up high as I get flammed for asking this, but I just gotta know. Be nice guys, please...LOL

I have an old smart card programmer and software to use to write to the card. I wonder if it coul dbe used were this possible. I even have some old smart cards from the dss days that are similar to the sim cards used to day.
