    Default T-Mobile Scare (South Florida)

I lost EDGE (Total Internet Package) on my iPhone today...it just hung on Connecting in Mail and in Safari it would not connect. After I restarted the iPhone I lost the E symbol. NO CONNECTION. I started to worry that T-Mobile shut down my internet service because I was accessing from the iPhone- and I was also reading how T-Mobile is shutting down ports on this forum.

I put the phone in my dash and again it did not connect. When I called 611 I got the automated message that EDGE and T-Mobile Internet is down in my area (Fort Lauderdale, FL).

-Just wanted to give a heads up to any other T-Mobile users and not to panic.

*611 is busy now- must be a lot of customer calling in.

It's normal. T-mobile edge doesn't work sometime in some area. Usually for about half day or so.

tmobile doesnt care if you use the total internet package with the iphone, they care if you teather the connection.

Must have been down all over I'm thinking. I'm in IL and I lost it today too. Came back around 8pm or so here after 3 hours of being out.
